How it gets signed
1Choose «Use this template», fill in the fields and review the full storage agreement.
2Send it by WhatsApp or email. The other party opens the link on their phone without an account.
3They tap the brown bar at the bottom that says «Sign as …» and draw their signature once.
4Everyone gets the signed PDF with its signature certificate. Anyone can check it at signsolu.com/verificar.
The signing screen tells each signer that signing means agreeing to sign electronically. It links to the electronic signature disclosure that the ESIGN Act asks for.
What you get once everyone signs
The signed PDF. The final storage agreement with every drawn signature in place.
The signature certificate. It lists each signer and the date and time of each signature.
A record you can check. The folio on the certificate opens the document history at signsolu.com/verificar.

Your first ten documents are free and need no card.
What the law says
State law may give a storage facility a lien on stored goods for unpaid rent. Where it does, it also sets the notices and the steps before any sale.
Follow your state's law exactly before denying access or selling goods. Clause 8 points to those rules instead of repeating them.
The ESIGN Act, 15 U.S.C. 7001 gives an electronic signature the same legal effect as one on paper. A contract cannot be denied effect only because it was signed electronically.
Storage units, garages and warehouses
The same template works for a self-storage unit, a private garage or part of a warehouse. Describe the space clearly in clause 1.
Private owners renting a garage should check local zoning and their own insurance. Commercial facilities usually have both covered.
Why the value cap matters
Owners do not know what is inside each unit. The value cap in clause 6 limits claims and pushes renters to insure valuable goods.
Renters who store more valuable goods can raise the cap and buy insurance to match.
Late rent without surprises
Send a reminder before the late fee applies. Most late payments are forgotten, not refused.
If rent stays unpaid, follow your state's lien notices step by step. Keep each signed and sent notice with the agreement.
Example of a month-to-month rental
A renter takes a 10 by 10 unit for USD 135 a month while moving homes. He signs from his phone at the gate and gets his code right away.
He stores furniture worth about USD 5,000 and adds the unit to his renters insurance. Three months later he gives fifteen days of notice and moves out.
Common mistakes
No prohibited list. Name what may not be stored, including people living in the space.
No renter insurance. Make it the renter's duty in clause 6.
Skipping lien notices. State law sets them, and missing one can undo a sale.
Business storage
Businesses store inventory, records and equipment. Add the names of employees allowed to access the space in clause 4.
For records with personal data, ask for a locked unit and limit access to named people.
A business renter usually signs through an officer. Write the company name and the signer's title.
Moving out cleanly
Give notice under clause 2, empty the space and remove your lock. Take photos of the empty unit.
The owner refunds any prepaid rent according to the agreement. A clean move-out keeps your record good for the next rental.
Renting space on a farm or in a barn
Owners also rent barn space for boats, RVs and equipment. Write the vehicle or item in clause 1 and set access hours that fit the farm routine.
Ask the renter for a copy of the vehicle registration and insurance. Keep them with the signed agreement.
Outdoor spaces need a rule on covers, batteries and fuel. Add it to clause 5 if it applies.
Return any prepaid rent within the days you promise, and send the final statement by email.
