SignSolú

An online waiver app that gets every waiver signed before people arrive

Based on the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. 7001) · Reviewed in October 2026

An online waiver app sends your liability waiver to each participant and keeps the signed copy with proof. With SignSolú the waiver goes by WhatsApp or email, each person signs on the phone before arriving, and the signed PDF carries a certificate with the time and the IP address.

Start free with ten waivers.

Who uses an online waiver

  • Gyms, studios and climbing walls
  • Tour operators, boat and bike rentals
  • Summer camps, sports clubs and schools
  • Event venues, trampoline parks and escape rooms
  • Tattoo studios, salons and spas
  • Equipment rental companies

How it works with SignSolú

  1. 1Upload your waiver in PDF or Word, or start from the liability waiver template.
  2. 2Mark the fields for name, date of birth, emergency contact and signature.
  3. 3Add each participant with a phone number or email.
  4. 4Send. Each one signs on the phone before the day.

The participant taps the brown bar at the bottom that says «Sign as …», draws once and presses «Sign and Send». A parent signs for a minor the same way.

Each participant gets their own link, so every signature is tied to a phone number or an email. You know who signed and when.

Why signing before arrival helps

A clipboard at the front desk slows check-in. Paper waivers get lost, wet or unreadable. Nobody can find the one from last spring when an injury claim arrives.

A waiver signed the day before arrives complete and stays in one archive. The front desk checks names instead of handing out pens.

What makes a waiver hold up

Courts look at the words of the waiver and at how it was signed. Clear language helps. So does proof that the person saw the full text and chose to sign.

  • Plain words that name the activity and its risks.
  • The release in its own section, easy to see.
  • The participant full name and the date.
  • A signature from the participant, or a parent for a minor.
  • A record of when and how the person signed.

SignSolú adds the last item to every waiver. The certificate shows the signer, the time of each step, the IP address and a SHA-256 hash of the file.

Rules on waivers change by state. Read the signed waiver guide for what courts usually accept.

Electronic waivers and the law

The ESIGN Act gives an electronic signature the same effect as ink for most documents, and that includes waivers. State UETA laws say the same.

The participant also consents to sign electronically. SignSolú shows that consent next to the «Sign and Send» button, with a link to the disclosure.

Extra files with the waiver

Ask each participant for a photo of an ID, a medical note or a certificate while they sign. Everything arrives together.

Find any waiver in seconds

Every signed waiver stays in your organization archive. Search by name when a claim arrives months later. Each PDF carries its own proof.

A waiver flow for a weekend tour

On Thursday the operator gets the booking list. They send the waiver to each guest with the phone number from the booking.

By Friday night most guests have signed. SignSolú reminds the rest. On Saturday the guide checks the names on a phone and the group leaves on time.

Waivers for minors

For a minor, a parent or guardian signs. Add the parent as the signer and include fields for the child name and date of birth.

Some states do not enforce a parent release of a minor claims. Many operators still collect it, along with medical consent and an emergency contact.

Returning guests

Many businesses ask for a new waiver each season or each year. Send the same template again and the archive keeps every version with its own date.

If your waiver text changes, guests sign the new version the next time they book.

Waivers in English and Spanish

SignSolú works in English and Spanish. Send each guest the waiver in the language they read, from the same account.

A guest who understood the risks is the strongest defense a waiver can have.

What to put in an online waiver

  • The name of your business and the activity.
  • The main risks, in plain words.
  • The release of claims, in its own section.
  • A statement that the participant is fit to take part.
  • Medical consent for first aid, if you need it.
  • Photo consent, if you post pictures of guests.
  • An emergency contact.

Keep the language plain and the release easy to see. Courts read the waiver the way a guest would.

What the audit certificate shows

Every document signed in SignSolú ends with a certificate page. It turns a drawn signature into evidence you can show a bank, a court or the other party.

  • The name of the sender and of each signer.
  • The phone number or email where each link went.
  • The date and time of each step, from sending to the last signature.
  • The IP address each signer used.
  • The SHA-256 hash of the signed file.

The hash works like a fingerprint. Change one comma in the PDF and the fingerprint no longer matches the one on the certificate.

What the signer sees on a phone

The signer opens the link and sees the document at full width. They scroll and read it like any page on the web.

A brown bar stays at the bottom of the screen with the words «Sign as» and their name. One tap opens a box to draw the signature.

They draw once with a finger and press «Sign and Send». SignSolú places that signature in every spot the document needs. Then it shows a confirmation and sends the signed copy when everyone is done.
